Soul Sunday continues at Natalie’s with Mistar Anderson, the Columbus based homegrown hip hop band formed in 2012. They recently released their new self-titled album "Mistar Anderson", and this amazing funk n soul, jazz hip hop fusion band comes complete with drums, keys, bass, guitar, emcee, and horns. The album was recorded live in the studio with hints of improvisation, and the chemistry is undeniable on the record itself and at LIVE performances all over their hometown.
The monthly Soul Sunday evening shows are coordinated and hosted by the talented Paisha Thomas. Paisha is a locally based entertainer who engages others through art with her singing and songwriting. She creates music about love, politics, self-discovery, and the condition of the world .
Soul Sunday at Natalie’s is held on the first Sunday of each month, and includes a delicious Brunch from 11 am until 3 pm, with the Derek DiCenzo Trio performing between 11 am and 1 pm. The Gospel Soul Brunch show begins at 2:30, and presents the best national and regional Gospel Artists in concert, hosted and coordinated by Debra James Tucker. The evening show will feature a variety of Soul bands and artists starting at 8 pm. In addition to the regular menu, enjoy a “Soul Food” special created just for this series!
