Manufacturing digital identities, constructing fantasy worlds to hide in, daydreaming a life that you may never live... Why does it seem like so many of us are always attempting to escape reality? For better or for worse? Artists Andy Meyer and Lucie Shearer explore themes of human connection within an ever-complexifying modern landscape.
Andy Meyer is a local creative and event coordinator who graduated from Ohio State University in 2017 with a degree in Arts Management and Printmaking.
Lucie Shearer is a multi-faceted creative, working out of her home studio in Columbus, Ohio. By day she is a graphic designer for a local arts organization, and in her free time she creates as much as possible.
This exhibition is free and open to the public. 934 Gallery's 2019-2020 programming calendar is funded in part by a Project Support Grant from the Greater Columbus Arts Council.
