In this workshop, well learn techniques for writing the personal essay and well experiment with several forms to help you begin that first draft.

INSTRUCTOR: Lisa Lopez Snyders essays and short stories have been featured in 34th Parallel, Gravel, The Raleigh Review, The Foliate Oak Literary Magazine, The Scrambler, and other magazines. Her essay, "In Transit," won The Chattahoochee Reviews 2011 Lamar York Prize for Nonfiction and she was named the 2015 Carl Sandburg Writer-in-Residence.
