Brian Kilmeade is the co-host of the popular "Fox & Friends" morning show on the Fox News Channel, and the host of "Kilmeade and Friends" on Fox News Radio. Brian's latest book, Andrew Jackson and the Miracle of New Orleans: The Battle that Shaped America's Destiny, traces the story of Andrew Jackson and one of the most pivotal battles in American history. When the British fought the young United States in the War of 1812, they knew that taking the mouth of the Mississippi River was the key to crippling the former colony, but they didn't count on General Andrew Jackson--a formidable military leader who rallied the divided inhabitants of New Orleans, bringing together Frenchmen, Native Americans, freed slaves, pirates, and Kentucky woodsmen and molded them into a formidable fighting force.
Tickets are $25, or $20 for students and seniors. All tickets are $25 at the door. The reading and Q&A will last about an hour, with a book signing and a punch and cookies reception to follow.
