Beatriz Valbuena is a humanitarian professional who has dedicated the last 20 years to international development programs. She is a collaboration expert, acting as an integrator between NGOs, community organizations, beneficiaries, donors, governments, headquarters, and field teams. At the heart of her work is a focus on strategic program designs involving both innovation and creative solutions, as well as long-term implementation with professional competency and a personal commitment to deep practice. Currently, Valbuena is conducting applied field research for innovating in the Durable Solutions sector within Somalia, finding long-term solutions for internally displaced persons using Design Thinking and Agile methodologies.
