Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019 | 6:30–8 p.m.
CCAD Canzani Center Auditorium | 60 Cleveland Ave.
Poet Erika Meitner, a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award, will read from her recent poetry collection Holy Moly Carry Me, this year’s common reading selection for first-year CCAD students. Meitner’s collection asks: Why does violence persist, what feeds it, and how can we live, work, study, parent, and make art inside it and despite it? A book signing will follow the reading. The event is free and open to the public. Read more at ccad.edu/calendar.
