Welding & Metal Bandsaw Orientation: Bookends

Learn how to cut, grind and MIG weld while making a simple bookend in this introduction level and tool orientation class.

This class will cover the basics of MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding, plasma cutting, and grinding on steel. We will learn how to assemble and weld simple but attractive bookends while learning the fundamentals of welding. Students will be learning to tack weld, fully weld, grind edges and welds smooth, and plasma cut into metal.
