Workshop: Patterned Enamel Overlay Necklace
January 27th, Sunday
Instructor: Jen Townsend
Learn the art of copper enameling while you make a reversible necklace. We will cover basic sifting and stamping techniques with access a variety of stamp designs and to a large selection of colors. You will be firing your pieces in a 1500 degree kiln to allow the powdered glass enamel to fuse to the copper surface. You will have two surfaces on your half circle copper to get creative with and use different colors on. Sterling silver chain will be provided so you can have a finished handmade necklace ready to wear home! This necklace can be worn two different ways - it's like having two necklaces in one!
All materials and tools will be provided.
Class is open to any student ages 16+.
Class size maximum 5 students.
For your safety, closed toe shoes are required for this workshop.
