Workshop: Water Cast Sterling Jewelry
Choose from the following dates for your workshop when registering:
Thursday, June 6: 6:30-8:30pm
Sunday, July 7: 1:00pm-3:00pm
During this class, we will introduce you to the fun technique of water casting. Using sterling silver scrap, each student will have multiple chances to pour molten sterling silver. Choose your favorite result to create a unique, one-of-a-kind pendant. Polish your piece to a high shine, or give it an oxidized finish.
One pendant with silver plated chain is included with each registration, but can be upgraded to a sterling chain at class. Students may also choose to make additional pendants, post or dangle earrings during class for an additional a la carte fee. Please allow extra time for your workshop should you choose to make additional pieces.
Each student will leave with their finished pieces ready to wear home or to give as a gift.
All materials, tools, and safety glasses will be provided for this workshop. Good eyesight and hand dexterity are a must. Please bring any eyeglasses needed for up close work and wear closed toed shoes for your safety.
This workshop is open to any student ages 16+.
Each date of this workshop has a max of 8 students.
This workshop is located in our NEW studio, located at 1365 Grandview Avenue, directly behind Figlio.
