Mills Park Hotel is a 28-room property modeled after the 19th-century home of William Mills, a local settler who is also the namesake of Mills Lawn Elementary School. Mills first financed the railroad through Yellow Springs and helped to build the town’s infrastructure. Mills’ home, which stood on the site of the school, was a three-story Victorian. While the Hotel isn’t an exact replica, it imitates the mid-to-late-1800s style of the house. Staying true to Yellow Springs, local artists and artisans are featured as well as beautifully handcrafted details throughout the property.
Standing three stories tall, we offer 24,000 square feet of space with a restaurant, gift shop, banquet hall, conference room, and fitness room – all of which support the capacity for Yellow Springs to host large groups of visitors, conferences, corporate events, retreats and weddings. Our restaurant, Ellie's, offers a delicious, southern inspired menu that offers locally sourced, seasonal menus and is a perfect pairing for catered events at the property.
