Columbus Live Forward Pledge
Having ensured proper health and safety protocols are in place, many of Columbus’ vibrant businesses, including restaurants, attractions, shops and more, have reopened responsibly and are ready to welcome residents and visitors alike. We're excited to offer the "Live Forward" Pledge to assure customers and guests that participating businesses are putting health and safety at the forefront now more than ever.
Signing the pledge signals an agreement made by businesses to follow federal, state, and local health and safety guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Experience Columbus is proud that the Live Forward Pledge has adopted an infection prevention 101 course from The Ohio State University, supported by CloroxPro, to help partners level-up their commitment to health and safety. The four-part series provides foundational knowledge about infection prevention and practical tips - backed by science - to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Enroll in the course here.
Once signed, businesses receive a window decal as well as a customizable signage toolkit to alert patrons of their commitment to the Live Forward pledge. As more pledge partners sign up, the window decal and website badge continues to become a visual symbol of businesses that have made the health and safety of their patrons a priority. View the current businesses that have signed the Live Forward Pledge.
As more resources become available, the information below will be continually updated with the latest updates based on new phases of reopening. As we continue to evolve through different stages of recovery, our commitment to visitor safety is here to stay.

Mask Up Columbus
Wearing a mask is a sign of kindness, of compassion for your community. In Columbus, it's also mandatory for anyone over the age of six in all public spaces where six-feet of social distancing cannot be maintained. Exemptions include people with medical or behavioral conditions, people exercising, people actively eating or drinking and those communicating with someone hearing impaired. Read the full ordinance here. Similar mandates exist across the entirety of Franklin County.
