Why Make it Columbus?

There's no better place to hold your company's or association's event than right here at home.

Columbus is the 15th largest city in the United States and the largest and fastest-growing city in Ohio. Forbes named Columbus America's No. 1 opportunity city for its bright economic outlook. On the 2016 Destination Experience Satisfaction StudySM, Columbus was ranked by J.D. Power* as "Highest in Visitor Satisfaction in the Midwest." And Expedia named us one of America's most tourist-friendly cities that people must visit.

The Greater Columbus Convention Center recently completed a $140 million renovation and expansion. Now it's not only the largest convention center in the state, but also the most beautiful, filled with art from throughout Central Ohio.

Minutes from the convention center are walkable neighborhoods and entertainment districts packed with restaurants and cafes, boutiques, specialty stores, galleries and entertainment. Our family-friendly attractions include the nationally renowned Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, the top-ranked Center of Science and Industry (COSI) and even America's best ice cream, Jeni's.

There are so many reasons to hold a meeting in Columbus, but what your meeting planners and attendees will appreciate most of all is our generous hospitality and welcoming spirit.

We look forward to working with you and your group to Make it Columbus.
