Live Forward Pledge decal
The Columbus community has been able to safely reopen amidst the COVID-19 pandemic by ensuring proper health and safety protocols are in place, including a citywide mask mandate. Currently, a statewide curfew is in effect from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Saturday, Jan. 23 to help slow the spread of COVID-19. The Franklin County stay-at-home advisory, also in effect until Jan. 23, asks citizens not to leave their residences or travel outside of Ohio unless it is absolutely necessary. Testimonials

“Columbus is a great fit for our National Conference because it offers what we look for in a host city for our large event. The city is friendly, safe and easy to get around. It offers an array of fantastic restaurants, unique shops and top-notch entertainment for our attendees to enjoy during their free time. The local government and Experience Columbus are very supportive partners and easy to work with. The conference and arena facilities and hotels easily accommodate our needs.  We look forward to hosting our National Conference in Columbus for many years to come.”

- Sara West, Senior PR Manager, Thirty-One Gifts

"I honestly can say that our members, both association executives and industry partners alike, have never been so complimentary of a city and their experience in that city. I had other bureau execs saying 'this city is awesome and they have knocked it out of the park.' Association professionals said, 'I had no concept of what this city was going to deliver, and Columbus is a place I will bring my meeting to AND come back and visit.' People exclaimed what a great experience this ASAE Annual Meeting was and the reoccurring theme we are hearing is, 'I think this was the BEST ASAE Annual Meeting ever!' and I would have to say... I agree."

- Amy LeDoux, SVP Meetings, Expositions and Special Events, ASAE

"Columbus is ideal for groups like ours because it’s so safe and compact with so many things centrally located to the convention center, arena and area hotels that are easy for our attendees to experience. We chose the city because of its central geographic location to our selling base and the close partnership that Experience Columbus has with the convention center, arena and surrounding hotels made it a breeze to plan such a variety of programs at a number of facilities."

- Jason Sigala, Director of Events, Avon

“Columbus was a pleasant surprise to us as well as our attendees. Great destination, amazing restaurants, nice people. Your team was amazing and had a can do attitude from the minute we contacted them. I've worked with many, many Bureaus over the years. Your Bureau is top notch. Great people who are very passionate about the industry and the destination”

- Mae Ibe, Director, Conference & Tradeshow Division, Meetings & Incentives Worldwide

"For a week, nearly 5,000 of our attendees infiltrated Columbus and enjoyed the wide variety of affordable restaurants and attractions, largely on foot! Columbus takes walkability to a completely new level. It also is a great city that is friendly and welcoming to all, something that did not go unnoticed by our diverse group of delegates. Even better, Midwestern hospitality is not a myth. The service we received during our event was beyond anything I could have imagined."
