On the birding hike you will be able to enjoy a scenic view of the city while looking for your favorite birds. An Audubon-certified Important Birding Area, the Scioto Audubon Metropark boasts more than 200 species of birds that can be observed throughout the year. May is the best time for viewing migrating birds at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center, as Ohio is known as the warbler capital of the world. With your experienced birding guide, you will be able to take a one-hour hike of this special place where there is always a chance to see bald eagles, myriad waterfowl and those cute little warblers. No binoculars? No problem! They can be provided!

8 - 9 a.m. "Breakfast with Nick" against the beautiful backdrop of the Grange Insurance Audubon Center, a former brown-field that's now the only urban Audubon Center in North America. Enjoy a taste of Columbus' many incredible breakfast restaurants, presided over by local food blogger and author Nick Dekker, whose wildly popular blog and book by the same name, "Breakfast with Nick " has helped fuel the city's love affair with the morning repast. Scrumptious specialties will be provided by Katalina's Pistacia VeraFox in the Snow and others. After breakfast, you'll have time to check out the center on your own or take a guided tour with Audubon experts.
