Upon arrival, our welcome team and luxury coach ground transportation will greet our guests. Experience Columbus will also arrange shuttles to transport delegates to John Glenn Columbus International Airport for their return flights home.

Members driving to Columbus will find the city is an easy drive and will enjoy complimentary valet parking at our host hotel.

Experience Columbus has graciously offered a $150 airfare stipend per member who attends the meeting. In addition, Experience Columbus will provide a $50 driving stipend for Freelance Council members driving more than 50 miles to the conference. Both will be reimbursed following their attendance at the conference.


HiltonExperience Columbus has arranged for all meeting attendees to enjoy stunning accommodations at the luxurious new Hilton Columbus Downtown. The hotel opened in 2012 to great acclaim, garnering rave reviews from leading architectural and trade publications.  

A stellar collection of some 280 original works of art, along with dramatic ceiling murals that float above each guestroom, will ensure that SATW Freelance Council members will be wrapped in the city's signature artistic vibe.  

Perhaps best of all, Hilton Columbus Downtown is located in the heart of the city's dynamic Short North Arts District, which boasts incredible story potential for our members – all just steps outside your door.

There’s no need to book your hotel room directly. Upon registration, your Experience Columbus hosts will arrange your hotel.  As is customary, all members will be required to show ID and present a credit card for incidentals. Are you a Hilton Honors Member? If so, you'll enjoy rapid check-in, points and perks during your stay at the conference at our host hotel, Hilton Columbus Downtown. If you're not, consider joining Hilton Honors and start racking up those rewards right away. (You'll be asked for your Honors number as you complete your conference registration.)
