We’re incredibly excited to announce that we have added a new national sales manager to our team – Celia Anderson! In her new role, Celia will be handling the religious and multi-cultural markets. Celia is a published author and TEDx speaker and comes to us from the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau, where she was director of national accounts. A graduate of the University of Arkansas, the former Lady Razorback also played professional basketball in Greece after college. Additionally, she has presented at the Congressional Black Caucus and was inducted into the Multi-Ethnic Sports Hall of Fame for using her sports platform to empower her community.

After letting Celia settle in to her new role for a few days, we sat down together to try to get to know her a little better.

Fun Fact: I am 6 feet 1 inch, but it’s rare that I wear flat shoes. So, if you see me bobbing above a crowd at approximately 6 feet 4 inches, say hello!

Who is the first person you told the good news about your move? My mom. She is my rock. She has a great deal of wisdom that I rely on heavily so I don’t do anything without checking with her first.

What are you looking forward to most your first year in Columbus? As a regular attendee of the Congressional Black Caucus in D.C., I have admired Congresswoman Joyce Beatty from a distance. I have never met her or lived in her district, but I find her courage and strength inspiring. I am looking forward to the opportunity to share in the work she does to make this community stronger and casting a vote for her.

What is something you can’t live without in your carry-on? A good book to read and headphones so no one interrupts.
