Business Development Manager - Greater Columbus Sports Commission
You will be promoting and selling Columbus as a sports and meeting destination for state, regional and national events. You will be measured on achieving specific annual team room night and lead quotas.
Director, Integrated Marketing Communications
This position drives the strategy, planning and execution of all integrated marketing communications to meet strategic and business objectives targeting key audiences – leisure tourism, convention sales and residents. The Director role works collaboratively with internal and external partners to enhance Columbus’ image as a top destination in the U.S.
Director, Regional Sales/National Sales - DC Region
This position will be promoting and selling Columbus as convention destination to organizations and associations headquartered in Washington D.C. and Maryland with over 750 peak room nights. You will be measured on achieving specific annual individual, team room night and lead convention sales goals to support the business plan.
This position is part-time. Available shifts for this position are flexible; the Destination Specialists are only deployed at conventions or events as needed. Certain months may need dozens of shifts, and certain months have none. The majority of the shifts for this position occur during the day on weekdays and weekends. Total hours per year can range from 40 - 300.
Support the organization’s sales goals by directly assisting three sales managers to bring convention visitors to Columbus. You will assist the managers as they prospect and bring in potential clients to visit Columbus and what we can offer to their convention experience. You will work within a team of other sales support staff to assisting the convention sales department with special projects.
Marketing Assistant - Greater Columbus Sports Commission
You will be assist with Greater Columbus Sports Commission marketing efforts and initiatives, supporting the marketing department to implement marketing support for interactive, social media, event activations, bids and brand strategies. You will implement these marketing strategies to support our vision of presenting Columbus as a top sports destination.
