Columbus Water Parks

Zoombezi Bay

Zoombezi Bay is a combination water/amusement park that is part of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, guests can spend their summer swimming through Central Ohio's 22.7-acre water park! Experience the thrill of speeding down 15 water slides, the adrenaline rush of riding the wave pool, the calm of the lazy river, the laughter of children at the kiddy play pool and more.

Check out Baboon Lagoon, an awesome playland with eight water slides, fountains, and the 1,000-gallon bucket dump, just for kids. Ride the Cyclone, one of the largest rides of its kind in the world! Best of all, the water park features Crocktail Creek, a lazy river, and swim-up bar for the adults.

Catch a floating flick at various dates throughout the summer. The park stays open late for these events, so grab your family and a raft and float in the wave pool while showing one of many family-friendly movies throughout the summer.

Zoombezi Bay day admission and season passes are also valid for entry into the world-famous Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and Jungle Jack's Landing features dry-rides designed for the land animal. Dry-rides incur a nominal fee.

Splash Pads

Not ready to spend an entire day playing in the water? Take the kids for an hour or so to one of the city’s slew of splash pads located throughout. The fountains at Bicentennial Park offer great excitement for the kids, while parents can take in skyline views, or dine at Milestone 229. Easton has fountains in the Town Center to run and play through, or visit any of Columbus’ neighborhoods for neighborhood splash pads and fountains fun for kids of any age
