Columbus' Commitment to Safety
Many Columbus businesses have signed the Live Forward Pledge, signaling an agreement to follow federal, state and local health and safety guidelines for operating during the COVID-19 pandemic, including a citywide mask mandate. A number of the city’s highest visitor touchpoints are also leveling up their commitment by pursuing the GBAC STAR™ Accreditation, the cleaning industry’s only outbreak prevention, response and recovery accreditation for facilities.
The current Franklin County stay-at-home advisory asks citizens not to leave their residences or travel outside of Ohio unless it is absolutely necessary and a statewide curfew is in effect from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Saturday, Jan. 2 to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Those entering Ohio from states reporting positive testing rates of 15% or higher for COVID-19 are advised to self-quarantine for 14 days.
