As three-time MLS Cup Champions (2008, 2020, 2023) and 2024 Leagues Cup Champions, the Columbus Crew have emerged as a force in Major League Soccer, making it one of Central Ohio's most popular sports attractions. The team plays at Lower.com Field in the Arena District, where all four of Columbus' professional sports teams are situated.
Lower.com Field, which opened July 3, 2021, is a 20,000-seat stadium located behind Huntington Park, home of the Columbus Clippers, the triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians. The stadium features a continuous wraparound roof, a 360-degree concourse, event space and a 3,400-capacity standing section. It also boasts two patio decks, a “Nordecke Beer Garden” (a first for Major League Soccer) and a 5,000-square-foot brew hall that is open on non-match days. Sports aficionados can support local vendors by grabbing food and drinks inside the stadium, and there are also plenty of pre- and post-game options nearby to get you hyped up for the match.
