Alicia Norman describes her career arc so far as a "roller coaster" of sorts. Since graduating college in 2013 with a health sciences bachelor's degree, Norman has worked with underprivileged youth, pursued a master's degree in public administration, worked in campus ministry, and pursued a career in the financial services sector. But nothing quite felt right. At least not until last year, when Norman learned about Experience Columbus' diversity apprenticeship program, which launched in the fall and aims to prepare people of color for leadership careers in the local tourism industry.
