Today, Columbus is a magnet for talent throughout the region, and has become the nation's 14th largest city, with a population of about 1 million and 2 million in the metro area. Recent graduates and budding entrepreneurs are drawn to the city from Cincinnati and Cleveland because there are jobs here. Ohio State University, Nationwide Insurance and L Brands are some of the traditional beacons. A new Amazon warehouse has opened on the outskirts of Columbus and dozens of co-working locations have sprung up on High Street.
