Time Out is highlighting Columbus for its citywide Goosebumps celebration, the first national publication to recognize the initiative from Experience Columbus.

The monthlong event includes a public author talk and signing by R.L. Stine at the Columbus Metropolitan Library on Oct. 23, a Goosebumps-themed scavenger hunt at Franklin Park Conservatory, spooky night flights at ZipZone Outdoor Adventures and more.

“Columbus will transform into a living, breathing Goosebumps book, bathed in an eerie, slime-green light,” wrote Time Out contributor Gerrish Lopez. “This celebration is set to be a Halloween experience that's equal parts nostalgia trip, pop culture celebration and spine-chilling party.”
