Washington Post Opinion Writer Names Columbus One of America’s Most Underrated Food Cities

The Washington Post asked six of its opinion writers to name the American city with the most underrated food culture, and Columbus made the list.

Writer Chloe Coleman highlighted the city’s rich ice cream scene, including Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, which opened its first official location at North Market in 2002. She encouraged readers to visit the historic public market and explore Ohio-born favorites including Jeni’s, Graeter’s and Velvet Ice Cream.
