Nothing beats cozying up near a fireplace during the colder months, and if there’s good food and drink as well – even better!

To help get you through the winter in style, we’ve rounded up some Columbus restaurants with fireplaces to keep you warm.

Little West Tavern / The Trade Room at The Junto

The ground level eateries at The Junto Hotel downtown invite you to linger near the fire with a cocktail and a good meal. Little West Tavern is built around live fire cooking, which means the wood-burning grill takes center stage, as the kitchen team pumps out steaks and seafood. The Trade Room is their lobby bar, with a four-sided fireplace as a central gathering point.

Antiques on High

Front and center to Antiques on High’s mid-century modern stylings is a giant concrete fireplace surrounded by couches. Cozy up with one of their house sour beers or an expertly made cocktail. If the weather’s nice enough, you can gather on the rooftop deck with its own fireplace.

Third & Hollywood

This Grandview eatery offers a modern American menu spanning cheddar biscuits, pimento cheese, burgers, tender pork ribs – all paired with a handsome wine list and cocktail menu. In the center of their space, which features a homey, mid-century feel, is a tall stone fireplace, adding to the comforting vibes of the restaurant.

La Chatelaine French Bakery & Bistro

With three locations around central Ohio, the family-run La Chatelaine is known for their warm welcome and enticing menu of French classics, from fresh breads and croissants to eggs benedicts and beef bourguignon. Their eateries feel like stepping into a home in the French countryside, in no small part due to the fireplaces crackling in the corner.

Cento Entrance in German Village

An enchanting, chef-driven Italian oasis, Cento is in the heart of the historic German Village neighborhood.

Cento

Although it may be better suited to slightly warmer weather, Cento in German Village features a large fireplace out on its patio. Cento is so named because it’s the 100th eatery from Columbus restaurateur Cameron Mitchell and features an exquisitely crafted menu of modern and traditional Italian dishes.

Fado Irish Pub

Fado’s Easton location transports you away to a cozy Irish pub, complete with dark wood, big bars, and plenty of TVs to keep up with the latest soccer matches. While you enjoy an Irish breakfast, fish and chips, and a pint of Guinness, keep warm by the fireplace.

Shawnee Station Kitchen & Taproom

On Shawnee Station’s all-season patio they feature a giant concrete fireplace. You’ll want to kick back with a pint of Buckeye Lager or Total Eclipse breakfast stout in hand, then linger for Bavarian pretzels, walleye po boys, and chimichurri hangar steaks.

Cap City Fine Diner & Bar

Cap City has long been a favorite for upscale versions of diner classics, from meatloaf to beef stroganoff to burgers. Adding to the coziness and nostalgia, especially at their original Grandview location, is a tall fireplace that warms the restaurant during the colder months.
