The Central Ohio Home & Garden Show returns February 14–22 at the Ohio Expo Center, filling the Bricker and Celeste Buildings with inspiration for homeowners, gardeners, and DIY enthusiasts alike. As winter fades and spring projects start to take shape, the show offers a one-stop destination to gather ideas, expert advice, and exclusive deals. Here are five reasons to mark your calendar and attend this year’s event.

Celebrate America Theme

This year’s show features the Celebrate America theme, sponsored by America250-Ohio, in honor of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Nine immersive gardens blend history, heritage, and horticulture, creating a unique experience for attendees.

From A Tribute to Washington & the Gardens of Mount Vernon to the Stars & Stripes Garden, each garden highlights a different chapter of American history through thoughtful design and storytelling. Together, the gardens span design styles from colonial revival elegance to Life in the Great American Wilderness, telling a powerful story of resilience and unity.

Expert Presentations and Live Demonstrations

One of the biggest draws of the Home & Garden Show is the opportunity to learn directly from industry professionals. Two presentation stages will feature rotating expert talks, live demonstrations, and interactive discussions throughout the event.

From gardening techniques and seasonal planting tips to home improvement strategies and renovation advice, attendees can see ideas in action and ask questions in real time. Whether you’re tackling a small refresh or a major project, these presentations provide practical insights you can take home and use immediately.

Attendees can also participate in hands-on make-and-take experiences, including crafting custom wood flight boards with Makers Social (as seen on Shark Tank), painting concrete planters, and potting succulents. The Garden and Home Stage schedules are now available.

Home Improvement Inspiration

Thinking about updating your kitchen, bathroom, or living space? The show is an ideal starting point. Local interior designers, contractors, and home improvement specialists will be on-site as exhibitors, offering design inspiration, professional services, and the latest products.

From flooring and cabinetry to lighting and décor, you’ll find resources to help bring your vision to life — often with show-only pricing and consultations that can jumpstart your renovation plans.
