It’s a great time to treat yourself (or your holiday guests) to a getaway, and Hilton Columbus Downtown is the place to stay. The hotel is located just steps away from the most popular neighborhood in Central Ohio – the Short North Arts District.

Safety is the priority right now and Hilton Columbus Downtown is prepared to welcome you to their Hilton CleanStay environment. The Hilton CleanStay program, developed in partnership with Lysol and the Mayo Clinic, and has established a new standard for cleanliness. Guests can opt for a contactless check in process, using the Hilton Honors app on their mobile phone to select and access their room with Digital Key, bypassing the front desk experience entirely. Rooms are sanitized, and high touch point areas are hit with extra disinfection – think light switches, door handles, TV remotes, thermostats and more. Once each room is cleaned and ready for guest arrival, it is sealed with a sticker, signifying that the last person in the room was a housekeeping manager signing off on the room’s sanitation. Common areas throughout the hotel like the lobby, fitness facility and pool, are also cleaned at an increased frequency.

Exploring the neighborhood from Hilton Columbus Downtown is a cinch. Just steps outside the door is the North Market, a collection of independent merchants, the perfect stop for a fresh bite, or a treat to go. The hotel also puts you just a few minutes’ walk from countless restaurants with heated patios, Goodale Park (full of picnic tables and beautiful views), several boutiques and a collection of art galleries – making it the ideal location to get some holiday shopping done.

During your stay, be sure to sneak a peek across High Street, where Hilton Columbus Downtown has broken ground on a second tower, set to open in 2022, which will bring total rooms to 1,000 and make it the largest hotel in the state. The new 28-story expansion will also offer a rooftop bar, new restaurant, green roof and 47,000 square feet of meeting space. The construction does not impact the existing Hilton tower, which will remain fully operational during the construction process. You can learn more about the expansion here.
