Italian Village, located just north of downtown Columbus and just east of the Short North Arts District, is becoming a hotspot for great food and drink. The neighborhood is bordered by Fifth Avenue on the north, the train tracks to the east, High Street on the west, and I-670 on the south. Two breweries call Italian Village home! Seventh Son Brewing is known for their variety of brews, like their signature Seventh Son Strong Ale, the Stonefort Brown Ale, or the rich Oubliette imperial stout. The brewery features patio spaces, a rotation of the city’s best food trucks, and a new expansion that includes a rooftop bar.

Just down the street, Hoof Hearted Brewery & Kitchen includes a small system to supply beer that pairs with their colorful and creative menu. Look to them for cartoonish branding and big, over-the-top hazy IPAs. Visit for Sunday brunch, and enjoy the back patio with pool attached!

Latte and Egg Sandwich at Fox in the Snow CafeItalian Village is also home to the first location of the popular Fox in the Snow Cafe. The bakery and coffee shop features cappuccinos, cold brew, and pour overs to go with stunning pastries, from donuts to cinnamon rolls to galettes. Don’t miss the egg sandwich stacked with souffled eggs, candied bacon, Swiss, greens and a tart Dijon mustard.

Tacos at Cosecha CocinaPlenty of other dining options are available, like modern Mexican and cocktails at Cosecha Cocina, located in a renovated brick dairy barn with a big front patio. Goremade Pizza features creative pies made in their wood-fired oven, perfect for pairing with salads, charcuterie, and cocktails. Located in the old Wonderbread factory building, City Tavern offers pub fare and cocktails with great views of downtown. For the all-day brunch fan, there’s Drunch Eatery + Bar with everything from chicken and waffles to flatbreads to donuts to French toast.

The Market Italian Village is a full-service restaurant and bar, coffee shop, grocery store, deli, and everything in between. Visit for creative weekend brunches, great happy hour details with cocktails and 20 beers on tap, and their new No Menu Mondays, where guests show up and put their trust in the chefs’ creativity.
