One of Columbus’ storied distilleries, Middle West Spirits, has been doing their best to make lemonade out of lemons throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. When the world seemingly came to a halt in March, the team immediately decided to use their production facility to shift capabilities from producing whisky, vodka and gin to making hand sanitizer from front line responders. Service Bar, Middle West Spirits’ restaurant whose innovative cuisine seems to draw additional flavor from the comfortable surroundings of the restaurant’s interior, found a way to give customers that same feeling at home when they craved comfort most.
