Ohio State dancer Olivia Taylor
Originally from Newburgh, Indiana, Olivia is finishing up her third year in Columbus. Here are some of the reasons why she enjoys living here:
What is your favorite thing about living in Columbus?
I love all the fun things you can do in the city, because it’s much different than where I grew up. My favorite part about Columbus has to be all of the restaurants, the food is actually so good! Another thing I love is all the events and pop-ups held in the Short North when the weather is nice, and of course the Buckeye pride.
What are some of your favorite local restaurants or coffee shops?
Forno, Martini, Harvest Pizzeria, Moonbird Coffee Co., Maudine’s, Bada Bean coffee
How has Columbus helped shape your athletic career?
Columbus has given me so many opportunities to grow as an athlete. I have been exposed to so many new strength coaches and gotten to work with so many new dance choreographers I never thought I’d get to work with!
Outside of your sport, what other games do you like to go to in Columbus?
We dance at all the OSU basketball and football games, which I love! Outside of OSU, I’ve been to a Columbus Clippers game and Blue Jackets game.
What are you saying “yes” to in Columbus this year?
Exploring new areas and staying active!
