It is officially market season and that means weekly weekend trips with the jute bag in hand to catch the latest drops from the farms, the bakeries, and of course, the shops themselves. To many who call themselves frequent attendees of summertime open-street markets, markets are more than just a way to shop local. It is a way of life, a summer fête, or some might say even a hobby. Markets are calling cards for all those who seek whimsy and socialization. It is at the markets where you find yourself catching up with a friend after a long week of work, or chatting with a new bestie over your shared love for matcha, or even hugging a cute and friendly furry four-legged friend as they saunter up to greet you. Markets mark the start of summer and are the envy of those chilly winter soirees.
For those of us who call Columbus their home, we are lucky to be surrounded by markets aplenty. From farmers markets, to craft markets, and to vintage markets, Columbus really has it all. Let this serve as your guide to help you explore your home city one market at a time.

Grandview Hop
Grandview Ave.
Grandview Hop is an open-street night market/street festival in the Grandview neighborhood that takes place every last Saturday from June to September from 5 pm to 9 pm along Grandview Avenue between 1st and 5th Avenues. Featuring live music, more than 200 pop-up shops, and 20 food trucks, the Hop is the place to be during the summer to shop local and stroll and explore the streets of Grandview.
Franklinton Fridays
Franklinton Arts District
Franklinton Fridays is an artistic neighborhood block party that brings together artists, creatives, visitors, and more to celebrate art and community. Join in on the celebration on the 2nd Friday of every month from 6 pm to 10 pm. Franklinton Fridays now also includes an open-air market called The Good Market featuring local vendors and shops. Come on down to Franklinton for an evening of gallery hopping, local shopping, and community bonding.
Not Your Mamas Craft Market

Born out of a love for all things crafty and handmade, Not Your Mamas Craft Market is Central Ohio’s epicenter for art, whimsy, and inspired talent. NYMCM celebrates supporting local, but most of all, celebrating the joy of finding handcrafted goods and wares while surrounded by a creative community. This year, they are debuting a new summer mini market series, Not Your Mama’s Little Golden Hour Market, held at the Little Grand Market in Grandview every final Friday of every month from May to September. NYMCM will also be found at the Hot Summer Market on July 19, 2026 at Polaris Fashion Mall in the former space once held by Forever 21. The event will be ticketed from 11 am to 3 pm and will be free admission from 3 pm to 5 pm.
German Village Makers Market

German Village Makers Market is a large outdoor artisan market that takes place in the historic neighborhood of German Village. Featuring artists, food trucks, fare, and so much more, German Village Makers Market is the place to be for a cute little summer stroll for your next trinket. They can be found at the southeast corner of City Park Avenue and Thurman Avenue on July 19th, August 16th, September 13th, and October 18th from 11 am to 4 pm. Village Lights will take place on December 6th from 3 pm to 8 pm.
The Dublin Market at Bridge Park

The Dublin Market is more than just a summer farmers market. It is a center for community, engagement, and all things local. Featuring over 140 farmers, bakers, artisans, craftsmen, creators, and so much more, the Dublin Market is the summertime event for every member of the family. The event can be found every Saturday from May to September from 9 am to 12 pm at Bridge Park on both sides of Longshore Street.
Girl Next Door Flea

What began as a vintage fest has now evolved into a full-blown flea market called Girl Next Door Flea. This is the event of the season for the girls who grew up loving to play dress up, throwing lavish tea parties, and dreaming of all things cute and whimsical. Girl Next Door Flea serves as the place where ladies can step into their girlhood and leave behind the worries of the day-to-day. This is the place where girls can just be girls and romanticize their lives with the cutest vintage finds. This is the place where girlhood becomes sisterhood and you leave with newfound friends. The cutesy vibes can be found on July 9 at North Market Bridge Park, July 25 at Standard Hall, and August 15 at Standard Hall.
Fourth Street Fridays
Budd Dairy Food Hall and the North Fourth Street Business Corridor
Fourth Street Fridays is a summertime open-air event featuring community, local eats and entertainment, and creatives centered around the businesses located along North Fourth Street. The fun can be found on July 24, August 28, September 25, October 23, and November 27 at Budd Dairy Food Hall and the North Fourth Street business corridor.
Gallery Hop
Short North Arts District
Gallery Hop is the creative and artistic event of the summer located in Short North that centers on local and national artists and creativity. From gallery viewing to live street performances to art displays, Gallery Hop is the artsy event of the summer. The event can be found on the first Saturday of every month from 4 pm to 8 pm on High Street.
Atomic on High
Various locations
Atomic on High is a local makers and vintage market located in the neighborhood of Clintonville. It can be found in a couple of locations: at 3264 North High Street on July 18, August 15, September 19, and October 17 from 12 pm to 5 pm; at Understory on August 9 and November 22 from 10 am to 4 pm; at 1400 Holly Ave on October 3rd; and at Wolf’s Ridge Brewing on July 11 and September 25 from 4 pm to 8 pm.
