Giveaway Terms & Conditions: No purchase necessary to enter or win. Purchase or payment of any kind will not increase your odds of winning. Only one entry per person. By entering the Giveaway, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
To Enter: Entries accepted October 17, 2025 at 12:00 pm EST through October 20, 2025 at 11:59 pm EST. Enter via the online form, by calling (614) 221-6623 or (800) 354-2657 or by emailing community@experiencecolumbus.com to request an entry form. Entrants are subject to the Experience Columbus Privacy Policy, at https://www.experiencecolumbus.com/privacy-policy.
Eligibility: Must be 21+ and a legal resident of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia to enter. Staff of Experience Columbus and the Greater Columbus Sports Commission and their immediate families — spouses, parents, children, siblings (and their spouses), stepfamilies, and/or those living in the same household — are not eligible to enter or win.
Winner Selection: Experience Columbus will select two winners at random on October 20, 2025, from all eligible entries that were received between October 17, 2025, and October 20, 2025. The winner will be notified via phone or email on October 21, 2025. The two (2) tickets for R.L. Stine at the Columbus Metropolitan Library will be available via electronic transfer from Columbus Metropolitan Library during regular business hours at the Arena District Visitor Center located at 96 S. Grant Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215. If a potential winner cannot be contacted or fails to reply to the notification email within four (4) hours after the email notification is sent, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be selected at random. Likelihood of winning dependent on the total number of eligible entries received.
The Prize: The Prize consists of two (2) tickets to Columbus Metropolitan Library's Author Talk with R.L. Stine on October 23, 2025, at Columbus Metropolitan Library, and one copy of R.L. Stine's latest book, The Last Sleepover (Goosebumps House of Shivers #5). Two prizes in total will be given to two separate winners; one prize package per winner. The retail value of each package is $10.
No cash or prize substitution is allowed except at the discretion of Experience Columbus, which reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of comparable or greater value. If a prize cannot be awarded due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Experience Columbus, a substitute prize of comparable or greater retail value may be awarded; provided, however, that if a prize is awarded but unclaimed or forfeited by the winner, the prize might not be re-awarded, in Experience Columbus' sole discretion.
Travel Conditions: All travel related expenses, including but not limited to, ground transportation provided to and from winner’s home to a local airport, gratuities, incidentals, upgrades, insurance, service charges, hotel resort fees, luggage fees, food & beverage and personal expenses such as telephone/Internet charges, and gift shop purchases are the sole responsibility of prize winner.
Publicity Release: By entering the Giveaway, you agree that, if you are a winner, the Sponsor and Sponsor’s affiliates and licensees may use your name, hometown, image, and likeness in advertising and for promotional activities, including on Sponsor’s websites and social media sites.
General Release: By participating in the Giveaway as well as Instagram and other media platforms and agencies, you agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Experience Columbus, and its agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders and employees and prize providers from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions and any liability of any kind resulting from or arising from the Giveaway or acceptance, possession, use, misuse or nonuse of any prize (including any travel or travel-related activity thereto) that may be awarded.
Limitations: Experience Columbus shall not be responsible for technical, computer, mechanical, printing, typographical, human or other errors relating to or in connection with the Giveaway, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in connection with the administration of the Giveaway, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any Giveaway related materials; or for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, inaccurate, undelivered, delayed or illegible entries; or for electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction or error, fail to enter into the processing system, or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly or are lost for any reason including computer, telephone, paper transfer, or process any transaction thereon. Experience Columbus reserves the right to reschedule, cancel, or revise the Giveaway procedures and/or prizes in its sole discretion, if deemed necessary or advisable due to circumstances beyond its control.
Miscellaneous: Use of any automated entry software is prohibited. Electronically reproduced, mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete or inaccurate entries are void. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or any other media platform.
This promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law. This Giveaway and these Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio without regard to its principles of conflicts of law. Jurisdiction and venue shall be solely within the State of Ohio.
