Looking to book a hotel, motel, or bed and breakfast in Columbus Ohio? The Timbrook Guesthouse offers a very comfortable, homey and relaxing atmosphere for guests that require a long-term or short-term stay in the Columbus area for business, conventions, visiting family and friends or receiving treatment from nearby hospitals. At Timbrook, our goal is to ensure that all of our guests feel right at home and enjoy all the wonderful amenities that the estate has to offer. The Timbrook Guesthouse is better known as the “Old Jack Antrim Farmhouse”. This southern colonial mansion was built in 1875 and originally consisted of 83 acres, which included all of Indian Hills. This was the Antrim residence from 1921 until 1945, when Jack ultimately sold the house, along with 15 acres, to the Timmons Family. The Timmons Family and their horses called the estate home for over 40 years and they coined the property “Timbrook” after their family name and the Kempton Run which flows on the southern end of the estate. By the time the Doles took ownership in 1988, only four acres remained with the farmhouse. After raising six children, and many German Shepherds, the Doles have decided to permanently reside in the main house and have converted a portion of it into a lovely guesthouse. The property offers a beautiful ellipse-shaped swimming pool, a greenhouse filled with tropical trees and orchids, a large vegetable garden, perennial gardens that offer wonderful color throughout the property and an aviary filled with five gorgeous parrots who just love to entertain and talk. When walking this property, it is hard to believe you are in the middle of a large metropolitan area.Whether for one night or many, our goal is to make The Timbrook Guesthouse your first choice when looking for a unique place to stay in Columbus, OH. Why stay at a regular old hotel or motel when you can enjoy a relaxing stay at our cozy bed and breakfast?
