This summer, we’re partnering with Jeni Britton, the entrepreneur and artisan ice cream pioneer behind Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, and Avishar Barua, Top Chef contestant and rising restauranteur. Both native Columbus residents are passionate about the foundation our city has provided their careers and both draw inspiration from the culture and spirit of Columbus. Jeni opened her first scoop shop at the North Market right here in downtown Columbus and was able to grow her operation nationwide.
Avishar competed on Top Chef Season 18 and recently collaborated with Talenti Ice Cream for his Buckeye Bon Bon dessert, a nod to Columbus. He’ll offer residents and visitors a true seat at his table when his new concept, Joya’s Kitchen, opens later this year.
