Columbus Buckeye Treat Trail
Our sweetest trail. It’s nearly impossible to find someone who isn’t nuts about buckeyes! Columbus is home to plenty of delicious buckeye treats (inspired by our state buckeye tree), and with the Columbus Buckeye Treat Trail, you can try them all. This iconic, chocolate-dipped, peanut butter confection will melt in your mouth with creamy perfection, whether it’s your first buckeye or you stopped counting.
Check in at the trail locations to try each unique take on buckeyes and other chocolate and peanut butter treats and earn prizes along the way. Plus, once a month, one lucky Buckeye Treat Trail passholder’s name will be drawn and treated to one year of membership to Chadwick Arboretum, a 30-acre nature and garden preserve location on the campus of The Ohio State University.
4 points = It’s More than Meets the Buckeye T-shirt
13 points = Penn & Beech custom Buckeye Treat Trail candle
Use #BuckeyeTreats to share your journey.
All check-ins and prize redemptions must be completed by August 31, 2026. Chadwick Arboretum yearly membership prize consists of one (1) personal membership for one (1) year only. Chadwick Arboretum membership details will be managed solely by Chadwick Arboretum.
Please note: Many of the treats featured on this trail contain peanuts and peanut butter. If you have a nut allergy, please exercise caution and check with each establishment about their ingredients and potential cross-contamination risks before consuming any products.
