Sports & Recreation in Columbus

Bring your bike or rent a CoGo and take a ride on the many trails in Columbus, including the Scioto Mile highlighted by miles of trails, artwork and beautiful skyline views. There are several Metro Parks throughout Columbus that are beautiful for outdoor activity and exploring. Just south of downtown, the Grange Insurance Audubon Center allows visitors to participate in programs on birds, wildlife, and native plants or go on bird hikes and simply enjoy the beautiful spaces of the center.

Hit the links at one of the many golf courses in Columbus where golf pro Jack Nicklaus learned to play, including the Safari Golf Club at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Columbus is also home to several major sporting teams, including NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, the MLS' Columbus Crew, the MiLB's Columbus Clippers (Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians), the MLV's Columbus Fury and the Ohio State Buckeyes, so you can catch a game no matter what season!
