Mobile Accessibility in Columbus

Those who use mobility devices, such as wheelchairs, walkers and crutches, need accessible paths of travel and low door thresholds (without entryway steps). It’s also important that building doors open automatically. Below, you’ll find a list of places in our city that meet this essential criteria, including venues that provide courtesy or rentable strollers, wheelchairs and scooters. Venues listed also provide wheelchair-accessible entrances, seating, restrooms and accessible parking.

The public transportation you’ll find on this page includes buses, taxis and rideshare vehicles accessible for those who use mobility devices — this means they can accommodate those who are seated in wheelchairs and scooters, and vans and car rentals may include access ramps, lifts and hand controls.
