Good news: Halloween is not cancelled this year! With trick-or-treat on the horizon and many spooktacular events still taking place throughout the weekend, Halloween is shaping up to be the highlight of 2020.
We're so excited to celebrate, and to make a bigger impact in a year where it's needed more than ever, we'll be making a donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio for everyone who shows us their costume creativity.
Big Brothers Big Sisters develops mentoring programs between adult volunteers and children to support and lift up youth in our city to reach their full potential. In Central Ohio, more than 6300 children were served in 2019.
This week, you can help support the organization as well. It's easy! Just share a photo of your costume (or your kid's/your pet's), whether your favorite from the past or a new one for this year, on social media and tag @experiencecolumbus and @bbbscentraloh. For everyone who submits a photo from Oct. 29-31, we'll donate $1 to Big Brothers Big Sisters Central Ohio (up to $500). Help spread the Halloween spirit and make an impact for children in our community!
In the meantime, we've rounded up some favorite photos from our staff below to help give you inspiration.
