Fall nights are the perfect time to cozy up with your partner or get to know someone new with a fun activity. We've put together a list of some of our favorite fall date night (or fall day date) ideas in Columbus!

Start with a Taste of Fall Flavor

Food and drinks are central to the dating experience, and no matter what kind of date you're having, you can infuse it with fall flavor in Columbus. Columbus coffee shops have plenty of options for flavorful drinks, while local breweries have made the shift to the season's sweet, malty and refreshing flavors. Download the Columbus Coffee Trail passport to win prizes together along the way!

Farm-to-table restaurants throughout the city highlight autumn harvest from central Ohio farms, so be sure to check out seasonal menu items at places like The Guild House, Third & Hollywood, and Watershed Kitchen & Bar. You can also take the season's bounty home with you by visiting an area apple orchard!

Get Out and Enjoy the Fall Aesthetic

One of the best things about fall in central Ohio is the scenery. Red, orange and yellow leaves offset with a flannel shirt, knit cap and comfortable booties create a picture-perfect scene. If you're about the fall aesthetic, then Columbus has you covered. Get active and take a fall hike to watch the leaves change, snap a seasonal pic in a local pumpkin patch, or cozy up for a romantic, leisurely stroll through the scenes at Franklin Park Conservatory's Pumpkins Aglow.

Have an Art Experience

This fall, let the Greater Columbus Arts Council's Art Passport serve as your guide to all things art in Columbus, including live performances, gallery shows, public art, facility tours and more! Through Oct. 31, the community is invited to earn passport stamps (actually, stickers, designed by a Columbus-based artist) by experiencing art across the city, then redeem their passports for prizes like signed artist prints, tickets to future events and more. Learn more and get started here!

Shop and Explore in German Village

There's really no other place like German Village in the fall. Get lost together in the 32 rooms full of your favorite stories at The Book Loft or shop for locally made treasures at The Red Stable. If your date is a DIY-er, take them to make their own candle at Tiki Botanicals or simply walk through the brick-paved streets to spy the spooky decorations sprinkled throughout the neighborhood.
